Karyn Charles Rybacki is professor of speech communication and public relations in the Department of Communication and Performance Studies at Northern Michigan University.
Donald Jay Rybacki is head of that department and also a professor of speech communication and public relations. The Doctors Rybacki are the authors of Advocacy and Opposition: An Introduction to Argumentation published by Allyn & Bacon; Communication Criticism: Approaches and Genres published by Wadsworth. They are currently working with a colleague at Southern Illinois University on Public Relations Writing: Message By Design to be published by Houghton-Mifflin. Besides contemporary music and music videos, their research includes motor sports, and they have published on everything from vintage sports car racing to NASCAR.
