Andrés García Molina is a Ph.D. student in Ethnomusicology at Columbia University, currently developing a dissertation project around sound, media, and infrastructure in Cuba. He has also researched indigenous music and shamanic practices in the Colombian Putumayo region as part of his master's research in Latin American Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He is part of the editorial board of Current Musicology and an editorial intern for Cultural Anthropology.
